Interested in pursing a rewarding career as a certified Montessori Teacher? The Center for Montessori Educators is the first and only Montessori certification facility in Fort Worth. We boast a strong relationship with the Fort Worth Montessori School. FWMS has extensive curriculum materials, fully outfitted classrooms, and certified faculty. The facility has all the necessary resources to lead children through their Montessori education from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.

CME's mission is to apply the unique pedagogical philosophy set by Maria Montessori which aims for the fullest possible development of the human potential as a preparation for life. Learning is a dynamic process in which the whole personality of the child must be actively engaged. In order to educate the WHOLE child, a child must have freedom to develop his or her physical, intellectual and spiritual powers to the fullest. Dr. Montessori realized that the only valid impulse to learning is the self-motivation of the child. The teacher prepares the environment, directs the activity, functions as the guide and, in a rational way, offers the child stimulation and motivation.  It is the child who learns, who is motivated through the work itself (not solely by a particular teacher’s personality) to persist in his or her given task.  We make this philosophy our Mission.
