Tsianina Beardsley, M. Ed. - President, Owner and Director of Fort Worth Montessori SchoolTisanina holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in History, as well as a Master’s in Education (emphasis on mathematics) earned from Texas Christian University in 2007. Tsianina is MACTE Early Childhood, Elementary I & II Montessori certified and holds an AMI Assistant to Infancy Montessori certification. She has completed 500+ hours of AMI training. She also received her AMS Infant to Toddler certification in 2022. Her professional background includes experience as an elementary physical education, mathematics, and history teacher in Illinois, a sixth-grade math and science teacher in Lake Worth ISD, and a 6th and 7th grade math teacher and Texas History teacher at Trinity Valley School in Fort Worth, providing her with a strong foundation in both traditional and progressive educational settings. Tsianina is widely regarded as an expert in infant and toddler development, with extensive knowledge in early childhood Montessori practices that support independence, confidence, and foundational learning from the very beginning.
Tsianina’s passion for Montessori education grew from firsthand experience witnessing how Montessori-educated children approach problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration. While teaching middle school mathematics, she observed that students with Montessori backgrounds demonstrated persistence, creativity, and the ability to explain their thinking rather than simply arriving at an answer. This reinforced her belief in hands-on, concrete learning experiences that lead to deep understanding. Her commitment to Montessori principles is reflected in her leadership, her work as a Montessori education consultant for local schools, and her dedication to creating learning environments where children are encouraged to think independently, explore materials meaningfully, and develop confidence in their abilities.
As Director, Tsianina finds her greatest joy in walking through each classroom daily and seeing children actively engaged in purposeful work. She is deeply intentional about cultivating a calm, welcoming school environment that feels more like a home than a traditional daycare setting. Tsianina wants families to feel safe, comfortable, and confident knowing their child’s school is a nurturing extension of their family. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys creating materials for the school, including sewing classroom aprons and practical life items that support independence from infancy onward. Tsianina is the proud mother of five children, ages 15 to 22, all raised with a Montessori background. She deeply values motherhood and remains actively involved in her children’s lives, bringing both professional expertise and a parent’s heart to her leadership at the school. Above all, Tsianina believes in never giving up on children and guiding them toward becoming capable, thoughtful, and joyful learners.
